Just managed to catch some decent light before the bad weather pulled in andI also managed to get a few flight shots of our local Peregrines. Both birds were showing well and taking it in turns to have a fly by to stretch their wings.
Great pictures Steve. Mine are poor save for a couple of flight shots. When it came to processing (all shot in RAW) I find of course that my old Pixmantec software does not support the 40D, I should have thought of that! I do not like Canons own software.
Yes, Canons own software is good, and you can edit raw files with this software.
I am currently using Capture One LE which doesn't support the 40D either, soon I hope to purchase Capture One Pro, this software gives you alot more control and options over raw conversion and supports all canon models.
Hope to catch you again in the field soon - steve.

Lovely Peregrine shots Steve.
Paul.
Thanks Paul. These birds are amazing, I could sit and watch them for hours. Best time to see them is early morning on a sunny day.
