More Mandarins

Talk about good luck - Searched the river again at
Wrench Green Bridge, but no ducks in sight, started
to look through my camera at a flock of Rooks in the
ploughed field right of the bridge and guess what I found?

White Stork - A Closer Visit

The White Stork that had visited Wold Newton a couple
of weeks ago ringed in Holland, re-appeared in the village
of Irton just down the road from were I live (how convenient).

Turnstone

Turnstones at Scarborough Harbour. It was rather
sad to see that the bird in the first pic above had only
one leg, yet this bird was in a flock of 8 birds and
seemed quite happy.
