The Hackness Valley, full of birdlife at this time of year. Also seen was Linnet, Grey Wagtail, Kingfisher, Willow Warbler, Teal, Swift, Swallow, House Martin and Sand Martin.
My second ever Red Backed Shrike. This male had been seen the evening before at Old Fall, Flamborough, so I thought I would take an early visit the next day, with a possible hope of gaining the usual distant shot that a Shrike will let you have, instead I was rewarded with these beauties.

Another trip up on to the magnificent North Yorkshire Moors.
