The Dippers at Wrench Green were busy flying up and down stream searching for an early morning snack. I manged to find one individual having a rest on the side of the river which didn't seem to mind having its picture taken.

I saw Dippers on that Bill Oddie thing on TV the other week, facinating birds to watch.

Fantastic bird the Dipper, one of my favourites. Will visit the river more through the summer to try and capture more images of this stunning bird.
